Hi, I have a 2011 Jetta Sportwagen. Purchased new and it now has 69,xxx miles.
I take good care of the paint. Have a great system I use for all my cars I've developed over the last 25+ years of auto care and enthusiasm for cleaning and paint protection.
I am a very relaxed driver, don't tailgate, and am careful to avoid driving behind dumptrucks.
That being said, I've never had a care with paint issues as seen below.
I was hit in the front end in the summer of 2012. Low speed accident while at rest. Hood and one fender were replaced and front end repainted by a very reputable body shop (with lifetime warranty mind you).
I have 2 questions I guess.
Am I out of line when I think this is not "normal wear and tear for the paint"?
Short of having the front end repainted and clear bra installed, is there anything else I can do?
