2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage | 56 Hour Detail

Hey all!

My associate and I got the opportunity to detail one of the most beautiful cars in existence, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

This detail was a PITA! The paint on the Aston was incredibly hard and did not want to cooperate with us at all! It took 56 hours between the two of us!!! But when it was all said and done it looked amazing!



When the car arrived, we started with a visual inspection:

Some swirls and dirt:

Looks like the owner went off-roading!!

The lower portion of the car was pretty thrashed:

We then got started on stripping the LSP and clay:

Looking at the paint completely bare:

We then got into correcting the paint over two days.

Got rid of those nasty scratches on the rear of the bumper:

Overall I was pleased with how it turned out. The car its self is even more glorious in person. The pictures just don't do it justice.

The customer said it looked better then the day she got it!

Thank you! We used Menzerna FG400 with a microfiber cutting pad on 5.5 on a Griots DA. We didn't even finish it! Thats how hard the paint was!
