One of my clents took his CTS-V to have serviced at the dealer. Well, we all know how careless they can be. Some how they damaged the front fender, front and rear bumper. So, the vehicle was painted and they managed to get over spray on the entire interior. What steps should I take to remove the interior over spray? To top it off, they left buffing trails all over the freshly painted vehicle. How long do I have to wait to work on the paint?

That is awful. I would ask for a new interior at the least. My head would have exploded. I would have walked out on the lot and say I will take this one and left the trashed one there. (Pics would be great!)

I don't have a single clue how to remove over spray on the interior. I'm guessing it's on the dash and seats.

I would stay away from this one. Seriously, tell your client to contact the dealership owner and the Cadillac directly. Don't get involved in a dealership problem. Your putting yourself in the middle and becoming the third party to a bad situation. The best thing you can do is write a letter for your client detailing the damage to the car and give him an estimate for you to do the work. The last thing you need is the dealership pointing a finger at you after you worked on the car.

As far as fresh paint. That is one of the first questions I ask a client. Has it had paint work done and how long. I won't touch the car unless it's passed 60 days at the least.
