2012 Ford F150 Candy Red Tinted Clearcoat

I just bought this truck, used with 10000 miles on it and the paint has been abused.
I attempted to do a correction on it this holiday weekend and found it to be the hardest clearcoat I have come across
I used my Flex 3403 with Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover and although I was able to hologram the finish I was unable to remove the damage.
I also noticed color transfer on my pad, at which time I stopped trying to correct, polished out the holograms with Poorboys SSR1 and hit it with an AIO and topped it with Fuzion.

My questions are:
Has anyone had any experience with '12 Ford clear coat?
Has anyone had experience with tinted clear coat?
Mike, I am in Port St Lucie for the next few days, would you be willing in taking a look at it?

I have a dark gray 2012 F150, and noticed the cc hard, but not horrible. The candy red color is a special order color though, so I don't know if that would make a difference or not?

I have an '03 Expedition in laser red that is a tinted clear over a silver base. Apparently, things have changed because it is easy to correct, but very difficult to maintain. It scratches with ease...

Tinted clears are not my favorite thing to work with, but it does correct just like a single stage or normal clearcoat. Some can be harder than others and some can be softer. Because it is tinted, you will see a little pigment on the pad. It's nothing to be afraid of, but be careful of overpolishing over time.

If the Pinnacle product you are using isn't working, you can always change to a more aggressive product like M105 or Ultimate Compound and finish with something less aggressive.

True, my 03 Mercury Marauder has butter soft Clear Coat, most microfibers cause micro marring on it.
