LOOONG story short, I purchased a new 2013 Civic Coupe July 12th... 10 days later FULL BLOWN ant infestation on exterior of car. I know it was from dealer (we had a lot of rain and it was probably parked in some grassy lot where ants live). Anyways, before I even thought I reacted and used bug spray with the help of my mother to get to areas we saw the most ants. My car looked HORRIBLE one day a couple weeks ago, luckily I washed it at a car wash and no damage to paint. But this area right above passenger side window has two residual stains that have set in (RAID Bug Spray). ANY tips to get rid of this? I don't even know what the material is.. it's like a smooth black material (composite of some kind??) At first I thought rubber but have been told otherwise.

I literally know nothing about car care products aside from Meguiar's PlastX which I used to buff out horrible stains the Raid also left on the tail lights. The dealer got most out but I did some myself with PlastX. I'm afraid to try anything on black trim without knowing how it'll look.. such as a darker black which would just make it look worse. I have two stains like that side by side but could only capture 1 at a time in the pictures (they are hard to see and you literally have to know where they are on the door trim and catch it at the right angle/light). So annoying to me though.... I have OCD.

that has nothing to with your rubber trim
get a trim dressing and don't use PlastX on it.

Well just about any will do.
What do you have avalible at your local store will be fine.
I prefer Meg's so anything Meg's

I also have some faint looking spots and streaks from residual Raid bug spray that dried on the plastic triangles beside the side mirrors. Any ideas??? Is my only choice those back to black products or will something actually just clean it off?? They aren't faded from the sun, it's a new car.
