This was a coworker of my wife's SUV. We had done an exchange of her husband putting up our back splash and I would detail her vehicle in return. The GM clear coat lived up to its reputation on this one. The paint was very hard to get corrected. I originally started with BlackFire SRC on an orange pad and had to bump it up to Menz Fast Gloss 400 on an orange pad to get the cut I was looking for. The interior was already in good shape so that made the detail a little easier. On with the pics

Thanks and I changed the title. Thanks for that as well lol

Great turnaround indeed! :) By now I'm used to GM paint and find it easy to work with for the most part. (I'd much rather work with it than Porsche soft black that's for sure.)

What blows me away though on that Acadia, (especially considering how hard GM paint is) is the fact that it was STUPIDLY TRASHED OUT. And it is a freaking new truck for crying out loud.

Whaddya' wanna' bet they trash it out all over again?!?! :dunno:

Any-who... great turn around on that one.

Wow that car was loaded with swirls and you got it looking brand new again.
I think they came out with the better deal.
Great work man🙌

Thanks. I thought I was too until this one lol. At least I'll have a repeat customer now :dblthumb2:

Blue always looks snazzy when its all cleaned up! Nice job.

Wow, that paint was terrible. Nice turnaround! What kind of polisher did you use for this correction?

Did you find out why the paint was so trashed? Very nice turn around. You gave them a new car again.
