2015 Challenger Hellcat

Wonder if they are going to give the option to install a factory supercharger on previous SRT models. Would sure love that on my Bee.

That would be nice but I doubt it - even if they did, cost would be crazy! Man it's a beast, whacha thinking, $75-80K for the Hellcat?

That's nice but I'm sure it'll still handle like a yacht. Horsepower isn't everything.

IMO still behind Ford & GM...

The insurance probably is more than the car

Base price for most SRT models is already approaching high $60k-low $70k range so I would guess high $70k-mid $80k range for the supercharged version.

I would have to trade in my Shelby to get one. The hellcat is an upgrade in all performance areas, let's see some numbers first before we cast judgement.

It would be a nice addition to your current collection :xyxthumbs:

There were rumors there would be an upgrade for current SRT cars, however with the hellcat being 6.2L it would be interesting on how they would sell the upgrade. I know there are boosted 6.4 motors out there, but many are complaining about blowing rings if I am not mistaken. But of course those are aftermarket blowers. Also the aftermarket cars aren't hitting 600hp easily. Sounds like a major undertaking. I would have loved to upgrade my 300 to a new model, but since it is going away i'll be shopping for another brand. I want 4 doors and the new Charger won't be growing on me.

And I'm not sure the factory 5-speed is able to handle the added torque. It's a pretty archaic setup as it sits.

What did you mean by the 300 is going away soon... Does that mean just yours or did they announce no redesign? I thought it was a staple of their lineup?

The entire cars suspension and braking has been upgraded. Sure it will never handle like a Corvette but that's not entirely why you would be buying this car.
