What is cars and coffee?

Autogeek's Cars & Coffee is a time of fellowship among fellow car enthusiasts as well as a family oriented event and of course there will be coffee, pastries and cold drinks too!

All cars are welcome, if you like then bring it and share it with everyone else...

Cars & Coffee Tech Session
There will be a Tech Session covering a different topic about car detailing at each Saturday Cars & Coffee inside Autogeek's Show Car Garage. The tech sessions start at approximately 9:00am and go to about 9:30am.

Weather was bad for December Cars and Coffee but, I watched the Dr. Beasley demo online. I'll be there in January. It's always a good time.
 
would have been nice to send an email to let us know it was cancelled today. After driving 50 miles for nothing, Not very happy !!!!!!
 
I missed any notification of cancellation for the 2/10/18 Cars and Coffee. Was there one sent out?
 
What happened?

Probably because there's a boat detail class going on today.

2/10/18 Cars and Coffee - cancelled?? How do I get in the loop to be notified (clearly more people knew today than not)? Is there some notice posted on the website (I can't find one...)?
 
That is totally bogus!! I feel for you people that went, big time. No excuse for not letting people know. Another person just posted how they drove over 200 miles round trip to get hung out. That's just plain and simple lack of courtesy.

Hi Rich,

At this point, on behalf of Autogeek, all I can do is apologize.

I try as hard as I can to hit 100% success at everything I do and I'm sorry to say I don't hit the mark.

January, February and March are crazy busy for me personally here at Autogeek with,

  • Detail Fest
  • 2-Day Boat Detailing Class
  • 3-Day Car Detailing Class
  • Detail Fest



It's not just the dates of the events, it's all the behind the scenes work that goes with them plus my other job duties, like answering a new person on the forum how to remove swirls, which I do quite often.

Suffice to say, I think the company had a plan to get the word out that cars and coffee would be cancelled for this Saturday due to my boat class, (which the guys and Lindsey, are all out in the garage eating lunch while I type this), but I'm not sure we were able to get the word out as best as we could.


Apologies for the imperfect communication.
