is anyone able to recommend a detailing forum where it is not so difficult to upload pics?

I tried folks.....here it is on a site where I can take a folder full of pics and simply drag and drop them into the thread

I can't figure it out, and I'm pretty tech savvy....i have to significantly reduce the image size before this site will even accept it, then put them in one at a time

I've given up on trying to upload photos here via their galleries. I don't think it has worked for a long time. Instead I use Tapatalk...which I really don't like because I hate posting using my phone.

The process I use is to type out the post I way I want it on a computer. I think jump into Tapatalk to edit the post and upload the photos. Not great, but it's all that works anymore. The size limitations here and on Tapatalk aren't great either because often in this world details matter, and if the picture is low resolution or small a lot is missed.
 
From my perspective, everything about this forum, other than the people here, has gone downhill since the departure of Mike Phillips. This forum was Mike's baby! Besides all of his detailing knowledge that he routinely shared here; he also addressed any forum glitches that arose, like the photo posting issue highlighted in this thread. I understand that it would be very tough to fill the shoes that Mike left behind, but from what I've seen, and unfortunately so, there is no one at Autogeek who has even made an attempt to fill that void.

Forums can be funny places... We each have our favorite types of threads and the number of those threads that interest us vary from time-to-time.

The threads that peak my interests are the ones with technical, troubleshooting, and how-to discussions, especially as they are related to paint. Those seem to be few and far between lately.

Besides the outstanding members, this forum actually sucks now.

And no one at AG gives a rats ass, apparently..........

Since Bob sold the company and took Nick with him and then the departure of Mike there is a lack of passion for detailing at Autogeek.

I don't know why loading photos to a site isn't as easy as loading them to facebook. It's the one thing facebook does right.

A lot of forums have gone down hill in the last few years. At least people post here. Autopia gets a couple posts a day anymore. I don't think these sites are viewed as income drivers since revenue can't be directly measured.
 
i get great product recommendations here, and if AG is competitive, they get the love

when a friend recommended Polish Angel, I went to AG first, hoping to find it

as for content on AGs online store, they present product better than any other online retailer I've experienced....every product has a lot of info, including step by steps and videos...top shelp

as for the forums, if i'm being fair, I'm getting what I'm paying for at least :D
