I know your question was not directed to me, but this is what I use. They also come with extendable legs which would be nice, or could get a little tippy if reaching to the center. I can reach the center of my GMC Sierra k1500, though I am stretching to do so at 5'11". But has been a wonderful investment. Much better than milkcrates.

I have 2 of those platforms, and on this truck I can bearly reach the center of the roof.

However it’s impossible to reach the center of the roof on a truck like this. I use a car wash brush. Ideally one would use a mitt on a stick. There’s a couple of nice ones available.

Not gonna lie. I thought about that.

I was talking to a mechanic the other day about not reaching the center of the roof on big trucks and he said they make a thing for working on engine bay that is like a raised platform with a plank on it that lays you over the engine bay. I cant find it.

I think the work platform mentioned above might be to short for me although it is a good mention.

I might have to steal Dana's idea in th3 2022 f250 post and use a small scaffolding with pool noodles on the frame
