So it begins and to prove I'm not totally biased towards 911's let's open with my favorite car from the show...this 2002 restomod

A very close 2nd, for rarity alone...Mitsubishi Pajero EVO, you've gotta be kidding me with THIS

Alright, that enough overload...new post of pics coming, stay "tuned"

This Lancia Delta Intergrale EVO2 NEVER gets old!

Father of the Miata, Lotus Elan, at 5'6" tall, or short if you will, I towered over this car

Original new MINI, best of the new MINI's in the special Rallye livery, O.Z. wheels just work here...BIG TIME

Lotus Emira 1st Edition...STUNNING

57' T-bird w/ those magnesium replica wheels and NO skirts, love to see a "baby bird" hot rodded a bit

Yours truely, a clean Miata NB & V10 M5...manual, hope you enjoyed the pics

Hm...that Bristol is interesting, if you squint you can almost see a little early-60's E-Type in the profile.

Love these threads, and could comment on most of the vehicles. But that Buick sure does it for me!

Thank you!

This was an "open" event which is why the Buick and that Pajero EVO were there. It's been years since I've been to your typical lawn chair, American muscle carshow, been there, done that, along with their "Murica" attitude about cars

Love seeing pictures of that 2002 and the Lancia. Some seriously cool cars overall.

The Emira is easily one of the best looking cars in production right now. Last year I attended an event where someone parked a 1973 Europa next to a First Edition Emira. That was a pretty interesting comparison in many ways.

Ah...a 2002 and a Europa...a couple of cars I haven't thought about for a while. When I was in high school the older brother of a friend of mine had a 2002.

EDIT: Oh, and Klasse, when I mused about early 60's E-Types, I hadn't seen that yellow hatchback!

I much rather go to an "open" even like Cars and Coffee, or something like this event. Everyone is far more social and interactive regardless of what you bring. I've had some great, in-depth, conversations with total strangers after noting noting some random detail about a car that neither of us showed up in! It's also cool to see things like an owner of a Pagani Huayra or other priceless exotic pick up some small child and plop them in the driver's seat so they can get the full experience.

It's almost comical when you see someone shop up to a Cars and Coffee with the "traditional classic car show" mind set. They sit there in their lawn chairs glaring at the people passing by...and that's exactly what happens. People tend to ignore them and their cars while talking looking at everything else.

There wasn't a Europa there

Nate mentioned he had seen a Europa parked next to an Elvira...er...Emira
I think there is a little confusion. I just commented about going to an event where they were parked together and the interesting comparison. Not this one Klasse attended.

Evo Pajero
This thing looked BRAND NEW, so cool to see one inperson. Kinda curious as to why a V6 and not their legendary 4G63 engine
