M26 is an Hybrid-Wax...with the weighted-emphasis being on the carnauba wax side. Also known as a:
"pure" Wax---having no cleaners or polish.

M21 is a 100% synthetic (hydrophobic)-polymer product:
A "pure" Sealant---having no natural Waxes.

•I like them both.
-M21 for "metallics".
-M26 has the best D.O.I. (distinction of image) of any Wax that I've ever used!!

Believe it or not:
Some people are even known to use M26 atop M21.

I like using both. If you are looking for long term protection then M21 would be the one to go with. M26 does look great

M21/M26 is a great combo. They compliment each other very well. Give it a shot. I think you will like it.

Thanks, don't mean to thread hijack but it seems like you know the Megs line.I'm curious about the cut of the maroon bottle cleaner wax(America's no. 1 best selling cleaner wax) which I assume is also called A12 cleaner wax. How aggressive is it? I have used this vs glazes to finish off after a polish and it always seems to leave a better,glossier finish than my PB BH and WD.

A12 is not that aggressive. It is still good for a cleaner wax. If you want a Meguiar's cleaner wax that has some correcting ability look into white wax or black wax. White wax offers more cleaning (correction) while black wax offers more polishing oils. White wax and black wax uses SMAT (super micro abrasive technology). These are also available over the counter.

My guess on a scale from 1 to 10 it would be around a 2. Keep in mind this product is in the Consumer Line so it's created for the lowest common denominator in the general public.

I don't use it for correcting but more on its glossy finishing and leaves paint ultra smooth.

It's actually a great "Maintenance Wax" for daily drivers.

Meguiars Liquid Cleaner Wax A12 was the first detailing product I ever bought, its what actually caught my fascination as it was really easy to apply and remove and left my paint sparkling. I then purchased Ultimate Compound and being really experienced thought "Cleaner" wax as its name suggests goes first then followed by Ultimate Compound. I was devastated as the paint was nowhere as shiny as when the cleaner was used alone. Oh well, learnt later on the order of using products and the intended use of each lol.
