Several months ago I received a test sample of wax from Obi Dan Karnabi, whom produced the Chocwork Orange for the DODO Juice Lable. I was asked to review the new wax for Dan. I got a chance to use it on several vehicles but this one really stood out ot me. It is a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Rick Hendrick 25th Anniversary, Number 6 of 25. The vehicle is autographed by Hendrick and Calloway on the manifold cover. Since there were only 25 produced this was an amazing vehicle. Another one of the Hendrick Anniversary addition’s sold for over $250,000 in Scottsdale Arizona. The vehicle was in excellent condition as it is garage kept purchased by a collector. The vehicle was washed with Pinnacle Shampoo and then the paint was polished with Chemical Guys Blacklight. There was no need to clay the vehicle dueto the paint being in really great shape. I applied two coats of the Obi-Dan's purple wax to the paint. The wax was really easy to apply and came off well. The silver paint really had a nice shine and a really smooth finish. The owner loved the final result and will be getting me several more of his show cars for future details. This was one of my favorite details that I’ve ever done and my first detail of a vehicle worth over $200,000. Obi-Dan you’ll be proud of the results of your wax. The interior was Poorboys Natural look and leather stuff. I applied Poorboys Wheel Sealant to the rims. This was an amazing vehcile.

Gorgeous car and an honor to work on something so rare....Congratulations! :props:

I guess a $200K Camaro is rare, don't know who would pay that much for a $45K w/ a blower on it, to each his own.

As far as the detail goes car came out nice!

I agree.
Nice car though.

It was #25, of 25, that sold for $250,000 at that
Barrett-Jackspn auction...and that included Jimmy Johnson's championship driver's suit.
(The proceeds went to benefit Carolina's Healthcare Foundation.)

The first 24 were to be sold for ~$76,000.
(There may have been folks that paid a little more.)

76 grand...Still big bucks for a Camaro:
No matter the LSP that's been applied.
(I wonder if that should include non-AGO LSPs, as well)

Thanks for the info. All I knew about it was what I read. The owner of this one is close friends with Rick Hendrick. I'm like you still alot to pay for a car, but it is a nice car.
