Here's the other boat....

This is a 2012 - 21' Sea Hunt Center Console with severe oxidation.

Here you can see the sides of the hull have severe oxidation and scarring.

In this class you will learn how to,

  • Machine wetsand to remove the deep oxidation.
  • Use Rotary Buffers to remove sanding marks.
  • Use orbital polishers to remove holograms from the rotary step.
  • Chemically strip the gel-coat.
  • Install a ceramic coating.
  • The class will also go over interior detailing.

This is the most comprehensive boat detailing class on Planet Earth and we only teach it once a year and it's coming up fast.

Location: Autogeek's Show Car Garage in Stuart, Florida

Dates: 2-Day Class - Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th

Signed up for the boat class a couple of days ago, Mike. Looking forward to another great class, meeting some new people, and hopefully seeing some familiar faces.

Side question, will we be using rotaries at all for this class or will we just be working with the Flex 3401 and the Rupes 21?

Cool. :dblthumb2:

Yes!

The rotary buffer is a KEY tool for gel-coat correction. After machine sanding the hulls you will get the pleasure of using rotary polishers to remove the sanding marks.

Your choice,

FLEX PE14
FLEX Cordless PE14
RUPES
DeWALT
Makita
3M

One thing I like to do is show everyone how to make using a rotary buffer look easy to use because when used correctly it is easy to use.

You're going to love the class.

Next week I'll send out an Info E-mail.

Stay tuned...

:)

Perfect! I'm looking to add a rotary soon, so I'm looking forward to checking out the Flex and Rupes rotaries for comparisons again.

A question for Mike. Which wool pad. I have 3 cordless Flex ( 2 orbital n 1 rotary from AG). I have been using smart pads, wool (#41-005) , smart pads LL-92600 and and purple foamed wool; all AG. All for use on boat level 2 n 3 . Been using M31 compound n polish and M31 polish n was ( blue Rupes coarse pads ) to clean up wool or sanding marks
