3" Meg's MF Pads with 3" Griot's DA

Has anyone used the new Meguiar's microfiber correction system with the Griot's 3" DA? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase the 3" Unigrit backing plate for my Porter Cable or just use the 3" correction system with my little Griot's. Thanks.

If you already have the mini Griot's then use what you have. If you don't have it then buy the backing plate but make sure you get one for use with 3" pads and not a 3 1/2" backing plate.

Yeah......I'll try it and see how it works with the little Griot's. If it doesn't work well then I'll purchase the Unigrit plate. Just curious to see if anyone's used 3" pads with the Griot's.

I used mine with the 3 in mini griots. It worked ok, but, did not take me long to try the 3 in Mfs on the old PC. I never switched back. A full sized polisher (albeit an old one) was simply more effective.
