I was just wondering if anyone has tried this. I really hate when my nice white shoes get filthy, and I usually use shoe protectant, but it only lasts a short time.

Has anyone tried 303 on clothing/shoes?

Just put some on my hiking shoes out them under the faucet and beaded off, do it

I tried 303 after I ran out of Scotchgard. It repelled water at least as well as the Scotchgard did. But it was more expensive.

I work for 303 products. I've tried fabric guard on almost everything. I have fabric guarded my shoes, my daughters imitation ugg boots, backpacks, my brothers Boy Scout tent, my mustang convertibles cloth interior. As long as the shoes are not a finished leather you should be good. Just make sure they are clean and dry. Apply in a well ventilated area and let them dry in the sun. The hotter the better.

I tested by putting my shoe under a bath faucet. Sheeted the water off completely.

Thanks, everybody.

MPBGT - I was unaware of the letting it dry in the sun method. Do you know the reason for this? Once I get my new car, I will be using it on the seats (I will probably be getting cloth). Unfortunately I'm in chicago, and the sun isnt very bright/warm around this time of year. Does using a low temp heat gun have the same effect?
