303 protectant and Vac'n Blo review.

303: what can i say, its amazing. I have tried many many products over the past year, and none are as versatile. 303 protectant can be used on almost any thing. Thats why I think it is one of the greatest products ever! It truely has hundreds of uses. Today I did a interior detail for my own car, and i was impressed with the results. I finished at night so i will give my full opinion tomorrow. Rating so far 9.0/10

303 Pros:it can be used on almost any thing, leaves nice new car finish, no odor, not greasy, very easy to work with.

Cons: well, nothing really, it does leave spots on plastics or glass if you do not wipe it down, but it can easily be wiped off with out water, that is just like every other protectant product out there. In short, it has no real cons.

some pics of my interior 303ed up(only used 303 for the whole interior)(also note pics were done at night with flash, which "could" affect the look of the product, but IMO they represent what the interior would look like in the day fairly well.)

Vac'n Blo: this is one of the greatest tools a detailer can have. Money well spent. It has
so many uses. Now the thing that really sets this Vac apart from most is 3 things, 1st, it is small yet it packs a wopping 4hp. 2nd, it has many tool attacments that come with it so it can clean pretty much every where. 3rd It blows, ya you heard me it blows. This baby packs a lot of power in a small package. Now it could always have more. but it is plenty for most tasks. My Vac came with a damaged hose, so that might have a small negative affected in the performance of my vac, but it works just about as good as a un damaged vac'n blo, the only major diffrence is that things might get cought in the hose due to the section that is crushed in when i got it. There are 2 applications that i like the most, 1, it help you dry your car by blasting water off the surface and out of cracks. 2, i use it to help dry my floor mats after i have cleaned them, i put it in blow mode and put it on the wet mat and move it up and down, this helps speed up drying time by removing extra water. Rating 8.5/10

vac'n blo Pros: Small, powerful, a nice set of tool atatchments, it blows.

Cons: Its bigest problem, no way to electronicly control the power output, it only has a full power on off mode, for some tasks like vacuuming leather it is to0 rough, you can lower the sucktin a bit by uncovering a little hole but it is not that good, also the case is all metal, there is a danger of it hitting the car and causing damage when you are using it to dry off your car.

I just started using 303. I finally got some this week and did the interior leather/dash and the other stuff to protect against sun damage. Has anybody tested this stuff over the long term of sun exposed pieces? Does it truley prevent sun damage? If you were to use this stuff on your plastic trim on the exterior of the paint will it prevent fading over the long term. Or is fading just inevitable?

Update: It appears that I went over kill on the 303, instead of spraying some on a damp towel like it says in the directions I decided to load it on, i soaked a MF with it and spead it over my whole interior. If you do like i did you will endup with a shinny interior, now thats not bad, some people like it. If you apply less to a damp(damp with water) MF then you will get less of a gloss. I am happy how the car turned out, next time i will apply a little less, but the nice thing is that i found that i have very little dash glare even though the dash is shinny. I stand behind my rating of 9.0/10, a must buy.

Our customers have had good results from using your 303 Protectant on their rafts, so we thought we would see how it would reduce fading on our life vests. We distribute thousands of vest each year to commercial river outfitters, rental companies and canoe liveries. Everyone has a problem with color fading. So, about four years ago we sprayed the front panel of a canoe vest with 303 and put it up on the top of our building. The roof is painted aluminum, so the sun's reflection is extreme. My original intention was to spray the vest panel about every four months as a good test. However, it wasn't until yesterday that I found the vest. I had completely forgotten all about it. The color had faded. I wished that I had followed through with my original plan, but I didn't. What I found was pretty amazing anyway.
The part of the vest which had been sprayed only once was intact, but all the rest of the panels were rotted by the sun and rain and had blown away by the wind. It is simply amazing that the one panel, even though it was faded, was serviceable. If the whole vest had been treated it would still be usable.
I'm putting another vest on the roof today.. this time I'll be sure to spray it every four months. I'll send it to you in four years. In the mean time, I have enclosed the first vest for your inspection.

I can also attest to 303 being most versatile. Interior, tires, underhood, even weatherstripping. It should be noted it has a fine UV protectant also that helps with these multiple uses.

Joy- be carefuly with all of your copy and pasting... plagarism is nothing to laugh at.

As for the 303... I have tried samples of it before but the price is a little on the high side. I find Meg's #40 to be great at cleaning and protecting. Or Natural Look on well maintained vehicles.

Also, what is kind of weird is that this is sort of like a new product review of something that has in fact been around for quite some time. Like you discovered the wheel or something. So when people read it, I assume they don't really have enough of an emotional response to bother posting to the thread. Seems like you have been on a 303 high these last few days after talking to the guy at 303. Maybe it is the offgassing.

Apparently. If you like to do reviews, do them. If not, dont. Trying a product out for the first time, then trying to call it a comprehensive review is kind of pointless to me. A professional detailer doing a few dozen cars and then being impressed would be of more benefit. JMHO.

Update: I would like to do a bit of an update on the vac'n blo. It is loosing in the reliablilty and quality field. To day i was using it to blow the water off my car, and I think a piece shot out of the hole where the cord goes into the vac because air is shooting out if there. not only does it lower the amount of air coming out of the end of hose where you want it, but it blasts dust off the ground onto the car. It is the third thing that has gone wrong, the first two times it got damaged in shiping, now this. I would strongly recomend that someone looking to buy a vac like this should really consider another brand. I could understand it if it got damaged in shipping once, or a part failed, but all these things show me that metro needs to get their sh!h together. I am going to contact them and let them know what is going on. I feel that this vac would be a great tool if these things didnt keep going on, if you are luck enough to get one of these in one piece, and have it last, its a good tool.

I read over my statements, and i could not find any time that i called it a "comprehensive review". Maybe i missed it, if so point it out. I have used this product a lot since writing the review and I would have not written the review any different, i stand by my previous statements. Yet in your user proflie you say you are 25 years old but on the post above you say a different story. So my point in all of this is how can I trust anything you say if I see such blatant discrepancies. So can anyone really trust that you are giving good reviews or just posting to post and most of the time to be negative on almost everything that AG carries (menzerna, metro vac n blo, most pinnacle products ).

Ok, I am human, i made a mistake when selecting my age, ill fix that. How can you trust my reviews? Well, i believe in honest reviews. I hate todays marketing, it can make a products that suck, to seem the best in the world. Before i switch to a company(car care) or choose a products I do many hours of reshearch, between 2-10. My goal is to cut through all the marketing and find the best products that I can, I only want the best for my customers cars and mine. I am a HUGE critic, and i tell it like it is, I am not affraid to say that a product does not work or preform as expected. I have switched through many companys, for example, I first started with eagle 1, bought a few hundred dollars worth, then I went to meguairs for a long while and spent a few hundred more. As i continue my search for the best products, I like to help others like me. When I buy a product that i like, I dont just use it and be happy with it, I test it, compare it, I loose sleep over it, I am never satisfied. I do every thing in my power to find the truth about a product, is it really safe? is it actually biodegradable? does it really make the surface look better? does it really last that long? these are some questions that i ask myself. For example, to day i was asking a company about one of their products, i asked them if it was biodegradable, they said yes. That right there would be enough for most people but not me, I asked for documentation showing that the product meets EPA standards for biodegradabliliy. See where im going? Yes im tough on most products, I like to look at the negatives and find faults in products, like i said, im a critic. Its not like i shoot down EVERY product i encounter,most yes, but there are reasons behind that. If you cant trust my reviews, then you should not trust anyones. I try to leave opinions out of my reviews as we all share diffrent ones. I strive for perfection.
