Has any one use that Aerospace 303 Protectant on soft tonneaus? Does it work pretty well? When it rains, does some of it come off the tonneau and go down the side of your truck and you can see the chemical marks/rainbow like effect on the side of your truck then?

Reason I ask, is that I am currently using Extang Tonneau Tonic and i'm not to crazy about it. First it doesn't seem like it lasts that long once applied. Second after it rains, I notice that rainbow effect going down the side of my truck, from the Tonneau Tonic.

Thanks!

I use 303 on my trucks tonneau cover along with all the seats and cushions in my boat. I don't have any problems with 303 running down the side of the truck. I apply 303 and rub it in and wipe off all the excess so there is nothing to run off in the rain. It sure makes the tonneau cover look good too.

As long as you wipe off the excess as FastZR1 stated, you won't have any issues.

I'd also check out the Raggtopp vinyl protectant. I've had GREAT results with it on my vinyl top.

I use 303 on my cover often and love it!! I have never had any issues with it.

303 does make a convertible kit too, but I believe Ragtopp still owns this market.
