303 protectant - smells funny

I used this the other day on my tonneau cover, and I get this funny smell of mildew.
I didn't quite notice it immediately, but after a bit.
can anyone confirm this ??

did you shake it well ?? I never really smelled it but used on interior without any lingering scent as memory serves.

I don't know what 303 smells like, but I thought others said something similar to Optimum Protectant Plus (original version) of which I liked the smell, was manly and not fruity

No, I've never had that smell with 303. Could it have been the towel/applicator that you used?

I have to check this out better tomorrow, the smell has transferred to my t shirt, I detailed the whole vehicle, it came from something..

I once had a bad bottle... It was my first bottle of 303, so I thought that's just how it smelled. Then I got a 2nd bottle, which was really scentless... must have been a bad batch...

Yeah, I don't find 303 to have a mildew smell either.
