Looking to get a new DA polisher since the PC 7424xp isn't fulfilling my expectations anymore. I mainly do just my own vehicle and my dads occasionally when he is home. Looking to see what the better buy is and any help on info would be greatly appreciated!

one is a forced action DA, the other is a rotary...

yes, and that's the one I would go with to replace the PC

Sweet. Im gonna pick up a 3401 this week 😁👍

You made an excellent choice!! IMO Best DA. Look into the Lake Country Backing Plates as well as the Flex Backing plates. This will make your DA more versatile.

You will notice a big difference performance-wise when compared to the PC

If I had to choose one backing plate which is the better of the two? I have the LC 5" on my 7424xp

Get the Flex 4 3/8 (I believe) backing plate. The Lake Country's are nice (I have them). But the 4 3/8 is made by Flex and you can use 5 or 5.5" Pads.

Lake Country's come in 4" and 6". The Flex comes out of the box to where you can fit a 6.5" Pad...not a 5" or 5.5".

Getting all 3 would be nice but I would get the Flex backing Plate 1st
