Got a call to do this 350z today. I got my zymol creame from Micheal today (dust 2 glory) and it was perfect for this silver car.

wash- dp 4-1

clay- clay magic

polish- system one x3 and white edge pad

wax- zymol creame by hand (worked better like this :) )

got some pics of my in action....

GREAT Job!!!!!

Hey: you "need" one of those Edge microfiber aprons with the velcro loops to hold your rotary cord. I had a cord slip off my shoulder and wrap in the shaft of the rotary: ripped it in 2 pieces and just missed snapping over the paint.

They are worth every doggone penny IMO (especially buying a new cord and replacement install for the Dynabrade...$30+)

Enjoyed looking at your work. You got that paint looking quite sharp and full of depth. What kind of machine were you using?

NICE!!!! great detail there bro... glad you got use outta the zymol

You are a true artist at work...The paint looks above awesome...Thanks for sharing.....

Nice job, but I have to ask, why the hand application? After a full detail my hands look like crud and I do not want to run them across the car... I just never got the advantage of hand app over a clean foam app.

it is, and i tried that but i felt like i was using way to much product and not getting the thin and even coats i wanted...it felt like i was also feeding the paint alot more doing it by hand...

Scott, thumbs up, I agree with altering the prescribed treatments at times. I know I don't follow every label to the T. How did it melt in your palms? Did you go over it more than once or with the bare hand method did you get adequate coverage?

it melted really nice in my hands...i have tried doing Sig. Ser. II but hand and doesn't quite work...but the zymol melted evenly and gave a nice coat...i would go over the spot a couple of times and that seem to work it into the paint more..i was picking up alot less blue wax on my mf when i did it by hand than when i did it with a foam pad..it just seemed way to heavy
