3D One and 3D ACA 510

Megs UC was my favorite universal compound for a long time however when I discovered 3D One I tend to reach for 3D One most of the time. Fantastic product indeed.

In some applications 3D One doesn't cut enough so use Menzerna heavier compounds (which I'm not very impressed with).

Can someone please briefly compare 3D One and 3D ACA 510.

Is 3D ACA 510 also finishing or just cutting product that needs another finishing product at the end of the process ?!

My experience, I can throw One on a wool pad and do some serious cut work with it.

I’ve gotten great results from One and Rupes yellow wool but my go to for when I need more cut is the Urofiber 50/50 and 3D One. Plenty of cut and finishes great.

The Griots MF pads work well for cutting and leaving a nice finish. IMO foam takes too long to cut with. Mild defect removal they work fine.

Think they recommend using ACA510 right after wet sanding. So I would imagine its a pretty course cut and have to be finished off with something milder . Haven't used it just the little I read about it..

Same here.

I assembled a kit to take to work, and in it are some Lake Country Purple Foamed Wool pads. I'm usually able to get whatever cutting I need done with that, even on a pre XP porter cable.

I do have ACA500 as well - just in case.

I'm certain a mpre powerful machine would yield faster results.

ONE on a 3401, or 21 and a green Hex Logic is pretty potent too.

I used 3d 510, it is my compound. Ive used it many times with flex supa beast and lc force orange pad with no need to go further.
