3M foam pads.

Anyone use 3M foam pads? If so, which ones and were they any good? Thanks for any input, slantram.

I just picked up some of the 3" pads from my local dude. I haven't used them yet though.

Their 8" pads are very nice, just FYI you'll need the adapter for the buffer.

I don't care for the 3M Waffle pads. They tend to sling product more so than other designs.

I picked these up in a jam at a body shop supply store. They worked but there was a lot of sling. I used them (3 inch) on a motorcycle and had to clean the engine again.

In a jam they will work, but if other options are available i would not buy them.

3M makes good stuff. I find their pads WAY over priced compared to other quality pads around though.
