Quick question, Can you buff/polish PPF?
My initial thoughts is no, am I right?
If you can how would you do it and with what?

Thanks!

The short answer is yes....you have to watch the edges big time...
Many people seal/wax
If you go that route, make sure that the wax you will be using does not contain Kerosene or Naphtha in over 5% concentration. Also avoid waxes that come with dyes.

Okay, thank you. The main problem I have are water spots. They seem to be etched in. I’m just nervous about trying to buff them out

start with non aggressive polish first...don't hang in one spot too long...inspect often to check results

Okay, how would this be, I have a G9, set it on 2 using a black finishing pad with BOSS finishing Sealant
Other option is Klasse AOI

you might not get the results you want with that combo...although to be safe it sure is about as mild as you can start with

The other options would be Griot’s 3-1 or their Complete Polish

If you have water spots I'd go with CC and a red/black pad

I’m sorry, I’m fairly new here not up to date on the abbreviations.
CC?

Thank you, Ha I have some of that coming in tomorrow :props:

Thanks for the advice!

Will do, hopefully with pictures
Thank you!
