hi guys , im looking to buy one of these , but not having much luck over here sunny wales uk .
anyone know of a supplier that i could buy from

I believe there was some one on the UK detailers site that just got one from a 3M distributor in UK....very expensive....have you called a 3M distributor in the UK yet..they may be able to help you....

this place has them and is the cheapest price I have seen on them..

hi al , thanks for the quick reply , $299 isnt bad , i phoned a local 3m but didnt get much info from them
 
yes...most places here want from between 350.00 and 399.00 for it....so that price seems pretty good on that light

i had a chance to compare with a brinkman , and the sun gun was far better , but maybe that reflects in the price
 
peter richards - you got it, I'm a firm beleaver you pay for what you get. If you do deside to purchase please let me know because I've had my eyes on the sun gun for quite some time now. I'd be very interested to see what you have to say about it. For now the Brinkman that my home boy Al supplied me with will get me by but soon I'll be upgrading to the 3M Sun Gun.
 
There is no replacement for a Sun Gun..it is used to color match paint it is so accurate...the Brinkman is just a poormans swirl finder....


As Nica said you get what you pay for...3M has been in the paint buisness a long time....I think they know what works...lol....

ive sent the company above in als post an e mail , see what they can do , ive asked for a price on a number of guns
 
damn , just had a reply , they dont ship to the uk , oh well the search continues
 
peter richards - Exactly how many are you looking to get? Okay now you got my attention, where are you located? If you get a couple would you sell me one?

i live in wales in the uk , you have a better chance than me of getting a good deal , unless they wont ship to canada either lol

If your serious I just put my order through with them, I could order an extra one for you and we can work out the details later. Once I have it in my hands I can send it over to you. Let me know.

Thank you big Al, I trully and literaly am in debt with you :D hahahaha. You my friend are one cool dude, if there is any way I can return the favour bro just say the word and I'll be there for you. I just got off the phone with them and they can ship to Canada, good thing but glad to see big Al has my back. You rock Al.

I got a spare one that hasn't even been opened, still in it's original package. I'll let you know if I decide to sell it.

Much better in showing swirls? What light conditions you compared them under? Inside or outside?
