Just acquired lake country 5.5" flat pads and they please me a lot. Previously i used Meguiars 7" pads and lately they bogged down my G110v2, only slow rotational movement even at speed dial 5. It turned out that my pads are curved a bit (only after 4-5 car applications) and only when i changed into a brand new Megs pad, the machine started to rotate like a mini rotary again.

So after trying out my friend's LC 5.5" pad, i switched some of my arsenal into LCs 5.5" and so far I'm quite happy with them. They are more manageable and controllable compared with the Meguiars 7" pad, rotates better and due to the 5" Backing Plate, the pressure are more evenly distributed across the pad.

So my conclusion: the 7"pad might be a bit too big for the D/A. Does anyone feel the same way about this?

Thanks for the heads up :dblthumb2:

3" pads really spin fast. Try them too :buffing:

5 1/2 inch pads seem to be the best for this style of machine... From my personal use I find these to perform the best also..:props:

Wonder what today has in store for us :)

Allright, glad to know that it's not a mechanical/machine problem, now i can rest easier :D

Allready ahead of you, waiting for this d*mn rain to stop and take out all those nicely wrapped pads. Can't stand them just lying around nicely in plastic bag!!!! they were made to be used up...!!!! lol... well another 2-3 weeks should be enough....

Thanks for the heads up :dblthumb2:
