5' hybrid pads caking up ??

Hey fellow geeks,


For some reason my 5' hybrid pads are caking up! I've tried the XMT spray but it stills cakes up. I only use 4 tiny drops of product but I don't prime the pad before. I clean after every 6-8 passes, what could be the problem??
 
Sounds like you're not cleaning often enough and possibly using too much product? I pretty much clean after every section pass and use 3 pea sized drops of product, after initially priming.

Maybe try cleaning more frequently and see if that improves your results...:xyxthumbs:
 
5 foot pads?! Must be a hell of a polisher, lol.

But seriously, I would try cleaning the pads more often and priming them first.
