Good morning AGO!! Looking to purchase a 65 gallon water tank, my question is would it be to much weight to haul around in a suburban. I don't have the space for a trailer right now.

I've got a 65 gallon tank in my Ram 1500 and don't even notice it unless it is half empty and the weight is shifting from side to side. Should be just around 500 lbs so nothing a Suburban couldn't handle.

he means internal baffles to prevent sloshing/weight shift....you can probably find them, but it will be expensive if they are new.....

While at sea level and 72 degrees F:
One gallon of water (US) weighs:
8.3452641 lbs. X 65 = 542.4421665 lbs

It's up to you to decide if your Suburban
can handle this additional load.
