'79 Barn Find w/ Original Paint Before and After Photos

All original '79 Bronco that I bought five years ago. Old lady in north GA had it sitting in the barn for 11 years. These are before and after photos after I did a 3 step wet sand, 3 step high speed and then waxed. Came out looking good except for 1 spot. The spot disappeared after the work but after a few days the spot came back looking like I never touched it. I'm still baffled by it but have learned to live with it. Start to finish it took a total of 27 hours. Came out looking close to a showroom shine
 
Now that is pretty awesome! I guess you were not so concerned about factory clear since back in the days they gave us plenty to work with :)
 
I'm not as familiar with older car paint like this one but I really don't think it ever had clear. I believe it's acrylic lacquer because it's old and I was able to "move" the paint MUCH easier than a modern car
 
Wow! Beautiful! FUNX725 is correct OJ would be proud too!!! All kidding aside beautiful work. Very impressed!

Thanks Kamakaz! Lot of work but in the end it was worth it. I could pay to have it sprayed but God willing I'm still able to keep up with the high maintenance of the original paint.
 
Wonderful find you really put in time, effort, and TLC to bring back that classic bronco

Haha, it's amazing what a man can accomplish with the wife out of town, Pandora, beer and again, wife being gone
