Hi all,

I purchased this carpet to throw in my car over the winter. Its a dark grey 325e carpet that was not too warn but had some serious dirt/grim build up. Here are the products I used:

  • GG6"
  • Uber Interior Brush for Orbital Polisher
  • Folex
  • Bissell Little Green
  • Interior Microfibers

I basically sprayed some Folex on the carpet, let it dwell for ~15 seconds and then hit it with the Uber interior brush attached to my GG. I then extracted the Folex with the Little Green and rinsed with water warm water and extracted again. It came out pretty good for 26 year old carpet.

Nice job. Have you ever tried a pressure washer with a wide angle tip since you removed it from the car?

Very good work. Shouldn't be any more questions on here if the LGM works!!!

Nice results.

That makes quick work of cleaning carpets that have been removed.:xyxthumbs: I've cleaned a few likes this at the local coin-op wash before I got a pressure washer of my own.

I haven't tried that actually. I was thinking about it but the carpet will be installed soon and I didn't want the foam back to be clogged with water when I install it. Im sure it would be cleaner if I did though.

There was a lot of dirt and build up and you managed to pull most of it out. :props:

Thanks! Yes there was a LOT of dirt in there.

Well you brought that carpet back from the dead. Nicely done.

Thanks!

Yeah seriously! LGM worked great! For the price you can't beat it.

Yeah I was looking at those. I heard of some fitment/quality issues and so I decided to go OEM to ensure I had the correct fit and finish. Plus this was local and cheeper than that.
