998 GT2 or New Skyline/NSX?

THAT is a good Q

Sorry i cant help you on this one, desiding betwen those two cars would make my head explode.....

New M3?
New EVO X?

Dont like the E90 M3, it doesnt come in Laguna Seca Blue hahaha
I may pick up an EVO 9 MR but I dont like the new ones (never seen in person) I want to wait until they unviel the X so that the 9's price may drop a little. I have too many cars and not place to cover them

I am in the process of waiting for our new house to be built. I currently only have a 2 car garage, so anything over the 2 I have to park outside. Our new home has a 4 car garage with a motorcourt and Im thinking about putting up some covered spaces on the side area to put 4 more. (awaiting city permission)

BTW, im not talking about the R34, Im talking about the new one from Infiniti

My buddy has an R34, its like an EVO/NSX on steroids. I still dont think its worth it, after the importing/upgrades and "shadyness" it costs about 100K

ya..im tryin to get hooked up with a sylivia ..pain in tha but

gt2, hands down. the question shouldnt even be asked. the g37 body style for the newer skylines have ruined the look and the nsx looks like a space ship with a v6. gt2 ftw.

:( my all time favorite classic. Im getting an 05 NSX as soon as I find a nice one.

Im talking about the "new" NSX or HSC from Honda (indefinate)
08 Infinity Skyline
08 998 GT2

Sorry for not being clear

Whats the price for a 08 998 GT2 in the U.S? Take the 08 998 GT2 ;)

the 08 skyline should be able to beat out the C6 Z06 if nissan wasnt full of it. I would go with that.

Or you can just get an R32 from canada for about 10k. Comes with the same motor as the R34 just 5 gears instead of 6.

I have good word from a insider that Skyline will be a Nissan product not an Infiniti product. It is highly suggested to have a price tag in excess of 65k and I know of a South Florida dealer in line for the first couple already.

Porsche, absolutely. What a classy, classy car!!!

2 totally different price ranges, if it's anything like the last GT2 it'll run quite north of 200K after markup. Personally I do not care for the new Skyline style at all and not an awd fan, regardless of what the specs say. I found the new 997 TT to be a complete snoozemobile, so borring. One of our neighbors got rid of his even after about a month or two. I like brutal, raw, connected cars that excell on a race track ala Viper. Only Porsche that has my attention right now is the 997 GT3-RS, especially in orange/black combo, I'd love to add that car.

Heck if anything, I'd find a used Ford GT which fall smack dead in the middle of the price range your at. Especially with a couple goodies.

I can get a GT2 for 198K (before packages/taxes)
My budget for each year is about 100K so this would suck up my budget for 2 years, thats why Im hesistant on jumping on this. Also this would also limit me to my funds for any upgrades. Euro auto upgrades/mods are horrendous in terms of pricing.

Get the porsche, I'd prefer handbuilt over production line built, plus its a porshce, can't get any better than that.

GT2. Is this thread supposed to be a joke?

I know it sounds wierd I would take the GT2 if pricing were the same. But buying the NSX/Skyline would leave me w a great deal of money to mess around with.

The reliability of the Jap cars are far superior than German, especially a Porsche.

My M3 has been in the shop over 15 times (non maint)
My NSX/S2000/TSX all together has been in the shop........ ZERO TIMES! (not including maint)
