A Cut In My Leather Seat

Can someone help me with any products available to fix cut leather. I just bought a 2004 T-Bird and there is a 1 1/2" cut on the passenger side seat. Thanks.
 
If it's a slice, believe it or not, crazy glue ( use the one for wood and leather). Experiment before hand joining the two sections together, (you'll need someone to help), when you get the right fit, add glue to the edge of one side, hold together and you'll be good to go.
 
I would be very surprised if any adhesive will keep a cut closed for very long. I would take it to an auto upholstery shop and have them replace the cut panel. I had this done on my last car and it came out great. Not too expensive either.
 
I too suggest a professional repair ... they will stitch in a replacement panel and it will look great.
 
Thank you all for the advice. I think I'll try to repair myself first before I take it anywhere. Just had to pay up $400 bucks for some minor engine work. Again, thanks for the tips.

I agree. Any type of repair you do will be a temporary band-aid. Since it is on the passenger seat it may hold up for a while if you don't have a lot of passengers. Can't hurt to do a temp fix but a panel replacement is the best solution. :props:
