So... I get home from the firehouse after working a 24 hour tour of duty.. wifey was sleeping in, so I spent the morning organizing my detailing supplies, refilling bottles odf various solutions, vacuumed the interior of the Edge, and cleaned a whole bunch of polisher pads. I put them on a big flat piece of cardboard to dry in the sun... ran a few errands, stopped at my son's firehouse to chat, stopped and got dinner.. forgetting about the pads.. the lawn sprinklers came on at 6:00 PM, now they are soaked again... d'oh!

Look on the bright side. Not soaked again, just re-rinsed :xyxthumbs:

Hmm, not as bad as moving a just detailed black car to get another car out of the way and the neighbors sprinklers cover half the black car and dried before noticing it.It is just more work

I was detailing my car had almost 13 hours in and it starts raining. So I move the car up a bit and close the garage door. It stops I decide to open the door again but never close the rear door all the way because I was detailing the hidden part of the bumper. The garage door opened along with the hatchback door of the car leaving a scratch down to the metal about 4" long
