A different way of evaluating a wax and sealant product?

Most of the review evalute the wax and sealant by how well it beads water. While this appears to be the most consistent way to evaluate a product, I wonder if it's too simplistic. Yes, beading means it's protecting the paint from liquids, but what about the other properties? For example, I would be most interested in product that repels dust and dirt or at least make it difficult for contaminants to stick. Which sealant and wax appear to repel rather than attract dust and dirt?

You're on to something here buddy. You also want your sealant resistant to oils as most grime that sticks and is harder to clean is oily. Throw in protection again water spots, bird bombs, and bugs.

Personally I use water beading as a judge of "yes my LSP is still there," not a means to an end itself.

My guess is that most people do reviews soon after applying a product, and looks and beading may be the 2 things fresh in their minds at this early stage of of use.
