This was a birthday present from a customers wife to her husband... She was tired of seeing his truck "looking bad and smelling gross"...

Enter me...

I'm not big on "story's" like Nick and some others but here are the pics:

Stay tuned for the 50/50's up next...

50/50 shots...

Started on the front obviously and worked around... I used a Flex 3401 (Thanks Gweb for letting me borrow it to try it out)
Orange CG HexLogic 5.5in pads and Megs D300 to get these results... It was a one step with a sealant...

And my favorite pic:

In the end I emptied my vacuum 4 times (5 gal) and my Extractor 8 times!!!!

Had to wash it 3 times before starting the single step to get it looking halfway clean... I used 1 full clay bar...

Cleaned the glass 4 times each window (he is a heavy smoker)

Total microfibers used on the interior: 28
Total MF on the steering wheel alone: 6

Final result: Priceless!
Man this was a big project but the owner was ecstatic when he came and picked it up!!! $50.00 tip!!!!

Nicely done! :props: What products did you use? Did you try to do anything about the headlights?

you done a great job...that truck looks outstanding

Wow, that is one big dark dirty dually. Lots of work without a doubt.

Excellent work to say the least. I wonder how long it will stay looking good though???:dblthumb2:

wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! you did an amazing job!!!! How long did this job take you?!

Awesome flip!:xyxthumbs: Love seeing crazy turnarounds.

Goodness! That was nasty lol...Great job, that fat bottom girl cleaned up nice :)

The interior I used Purple Power degreaser cut at 5:1 ratio on everything but the glass... Exterior I used Purple Power, DP Auto Bath and Dawn in the foam gun washed with a mitt then rinsed, Did this one more time, Then washed with just DP AB... Clayed with CG Blue clay and CG Luber... One step with 3401, CG HexLogic Orange 5.5in pads, and Megs D300... Sealed with CG JS109, GG6, 5.5 CG HexLogic Black pads... Wheels I used Megs metal polish and Never Dull... Tires I used (I know god forbid) Turtle Wax No Touch spray (I spray it on let it sit for about 15 min then buff off I use this to get in the nooks and crannys of the tire like the shoulder and the letters) then I used DP Gloss Tire Gel let that sit for about 30 min then buffed off to give that nice new sheen...

Didn't do the headlights as he has new ones at his house and was going to install that day...

Thanks for the kind comment!

This was one that I did enjoy although it bairly fit in the shop for it's beautifying... lol... Did the front half then flipped it around and backed it in for the rear...

Good work, These big trucks take some time to go around.

True that... They are huge... But hey it was fun! Thanks...

Yep the big backed Bessie came out rather well in the end... Thanks

Thank you all for the kind complements...

Chris,

This was without a doubt a work truck in every sense of the word.

The before and after pictures really exemplify the amount of time and effort it took to return this truck to something really classy....:props:

very nice turnaround . wish there was a market like this where I live . well the markets here people just don't wanna pay the money . al cheapos. I'd have to do something like this for next to nothing . just to fuel my need to clean , use up products I have acquired , and get experience .

Yeah this guy has owned it since new and it spent the first 9-10 years of it's life on a farm for the most part jumping from farm to farm with construction projects...

Thank you for the complement!

Thanks man!

The market here isn't all that great for things like this I way under charged for this job but hey I have a life time customer now...

Very nice job, you should be tired and proud. I was going to ask why the headlights weren't fixed, until I got to the end. I wouldn't have done anything either.

Man that thing was nasty.... nice work!

Thank you Charlie!!!

I was tired and did another car after that... You can see the white Nissan Pathfinder in the background of some of the pics... That was the next one up... And I have another one today then two tomorrow etc...

Busy is good... I can sleep when I am dead... lol... I am proud of the outcome of the vehicles I do...

Thanks for the complement!
