Well I took advantage of some nice weather today and broke out the new PC. I first washed the car down with soap. This was interesting because I went to the hardware store and bought one of those H D Hudson wet/dry hose end sprayers and some rain-x foaming soap. I was not to sure what to expect but this was the best part! Foaming soap and lots of it! These things really work:dblthumb2:
So then I proceded to drying with the microfiber chamos. This went well. Then I did the plastic baggie test. Car was squeaky clean. Did not need to clay bar.
Then the moment of truth. Working with the PC. I selected my 2' x 2' section and started with the Meguairs Black finishing pad and some M205. This didn't seem to do anything so I bumped up to the Meguiars Yellow Pad and some M205. Did the small sweeps 1" x 1" and made sure to cover 50% sweeps. Waited for product to break down to like a oil like appearance, wiped off residue and PRESTO! It looks really nice:xyxthumbs:
I ran out of sunlight so I will tweak some more on it tommorrow.
I really had some fun today working with the PC. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I do see and fell now what is meant by the clutch activating if you use too much pressure.
It was actually very easy and a lot of fun to use.
