A random thought, cost per unit/oz

This is just a random thought of mine, but it hit me when I was at the store looking for ketchup...do you think that AG (or the industry) should have a cost per ounce listed under each products price?

I think that it could help many of the people that detail for a living in their budgeting and would also help AG move more of the gallon sizes when people realize how much savings is involved. Not to mention it could help when comparing brands, i.e. poorboys natural look dressing is 10.99 for 16 ounces, but OPT Protectant is only sold in 17 ounces.

What do you all think?

Yeah usually if you are doing this for a living that is one of the first things you look at. Grocery store only do it because their brand cost less...wouldn't work here but good idea.

my point is that its not hard to figure it out yourself, but when all the information is given to you up front, you will be more inclined to buy the bulk sizes. Also, I like that the grocery stores do this because you can see exactly how much better a value the "house brand" is. I bet AG would sell more DP stuff!

Also, an informed consumer is a better customer, and since AG prices are pretty much the best out there anyways, AG doesn't stand to lose anything by diong this.

Ive always used it when talking about Souveran Paste. Sure its around 75.00 dollars normally. But with 30-40 cars (when used correctly) it costs less than 2.00 per application. Isnt your ride worth 2.00 monthly ???

typically yes, using the Pinnacle soap and the Pinnacle Souveran Spray will increase its lifespan. Also remember it only takes 10-15 minutes to apply/remove when done properly as not suppose to dry. So WOWO ~

I would much rather see roughly how many applications per bottle. Some of the stuff I've found will state that, but alot of it I've seen doesn't.

Even at the rate that Itoman uses Souveran 20-25 cars a jar (4.00 dollars an apllication) is still a good deal (lol).
