This one was a pain to do. The paint on this brand new S550 is so damn tough!

After the foam bath I went onto using the nanoskin clay pad on my DA but it left a lot of weird round marks on the test panel so I aborted that and went to the clay.

I then started to work with an orange hex pad and Meg's ultimate compound.. even after 2 or 3 tries nothing was happening. I switched to my chemical guys MF pad and it helped, but then the MF came away from the foam.. damnit...I then decided to switch to the harder yellow pad and had at it.. after a ton of passes the swirls started to come out.. although not as much as I would have liked.

It was sealed with CG M-Seal.

After 11 hours of fighting this very hard paint I got to the stage that was acceptable, but not as good as I would have liked.

Lesson: I've ordered a bunch of new MF and yellow hex pads and M105.

Very nice turn around, and many luxury car brands tend to have hard paint

Great work! Not sure what happen with Nanoskin I've never had a problem on same model and color. I use MF pads and FG400 with great results on same car.

Usually Benzes have one of the finest finishes to rejuve. Educate the customer about car washing. These cars are one of my favorites to do, even though they can be a challenge. Pride yourself....the car looks great!

You cant touch my cars if you don't have practice. Dedication is assumed as well a perseverance.

Damn, I thought this was the new mustang because the series code is S550. Nice job on the Merc though!

Later,
Lee
