Can these be used on chrome wheels? As long as it is scrubbed and washed right off? And if so a recommendation.
 
Yeah you can use acid on chrome (spray on leave for a few minutes then hose off throughly) though if you thoroughly clean and seal the wheels the use for acid is not required just car soap and water also when using acid be sure to wear to loves and eye wear
 
Thank you yeah I put them away over the winter without cleaning them. Big mistake, anyway thanks for the info. Can you recommend a good one for me
 
Meguiars D140 white brightner is a good acid cleaner though if you want something OTC Eagle one etching mag wheel cleaner is great alternative also if you want to agitate the acid cleaner you can it you want just don't use one of your pride brushes

You can buy meguiars d140 online at autogeek and other online stores and the acid cannot sit on the for no more than five minutes
 
Yes it only comes in a big jug while the eagle one comes in a small bottles
 
Thanks so the big jug is diluted already? Just to be clear, because I wrote dures. Good old auto correct.
 
No the wheel brighner comes concertrated you dilute it to your specific needs I dilute mines 1:4
 
Oh great never understood the whole this part to this part. The Eagle One comes in smaller bottles already diluted?
 
And it's just as good? Or is the D 140 better?

I think but I do know its sold in Walmart, autozone, pepboys etcs
 
Please make sure you use the appropriate protection when using that EO wheel cleaner, it has hydrofluoric acid in it (as does Meg's WB).
