Morning Forum...

I have been wanting to sign up on a detailing forum for quite some time and AG looks like the right place for me. I look forward to communicating with many of you hoping to learn some new tricks of our trade. I am a Soldier in the US Army (Staff Sergeant) currently serving my 4th tour in Iraq and unfortunately I end up losing touch with the latest and greatest in the detailing world so I need all of you fine people to help me stay with the latest and cutting edge. I operate a small mobile detailing service back in Ft. Hood, Texas and very much look forward to getting back and plugging in my buffer once again. I personally find it deeply fulfilling when a customer sees their car for the first time and they are just in awe....I'm sure many of you share the same emotion I do. Before I start rambling like an idiot, glad to be here.:dblthumb2:

Welcome Sgt. Rob................apparently, I am the only one up right now, so let me be the first to say hello from the states.

Four tours is amazing....thank-you for what you do for all of us. I'm a relative "old folk" as my era was Vietnam, but I was fortunate enough to have the war ending when it was my time.

Stay in touch with us. Lot's going on all the time at this forum.

See ya.

Hey Rob glad you are here and WELCOME!

First of all thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to transport alot of troops out of ft hood to Kuwait since I used to be a flight attendant with ATA airlines and have heard alot of stories so for you to be on your 4th tour you deserve a big thank you for being away from home and family!

I just want to warn you that this forum is addictive but if you ever need advice this IS the place to go!

Welcome SSG Spitz. I was in Iraq during DESERT STORM and again in 2003. The last assignment I was living in downtown Bagdad (way outside the Green Zone and not near a military camp). My whole time there I don't think I saw a singled detailed Iraqi car. Bagdad might be a good market to move your detailing business after you retire from the Army. Ha, ha! You might get rich quick as nothing there stays clean for long; probably one of the dustiest places in the world. Seriously, I hope business does well when you return to Texas.
