Has anyone removed the seats from and Acura MDX? I have a possible client for next weekend that is going to be a staged detail, starting with the interior first and then doing the exterior correction at a later date.
She mentioned that the seat crevices are "No-Man's Land" when you drop stuff, and looking at the seats, it looks like the plastic itself can be popped off the front and back.
The carpet will need to be completely cleaned, so I wanted to pop the front two seats out to access it easier.
Is there an easy step -by-step to handle this?
Am I correct that the battery needs to be unplugged to dis-engage the air bags if it has them in the seats?

I would say to disconnect the battery. I've had luck with Honda seats finding instructions online at various websites. Everything short of the actual repair manual. Make sure and look at all the electrical connections under the seat and color code them somehow if some look alike...before you disconnect.

I did do a search and found one guy replacing the heater in his and he just unbolted and un-plugged.
