Drove about an hour to get to this client.
Probably the smoothest job iv'e had this month, he had everything set up when I got there (hose to driveway, radio blasting in the garage, & so on). Was a decent day :)
While I was finishing up on his Acura, his next door neighbor came over and asked prices and ended up giving him a Wash & wax on his Nissan Sentra. Didn't have to go far to have my day filled :xyxthumbs: Slipped my mind to take photos of the Sentra but I won't forget from now on :Picture:

And to Top it off, I found randomly a $20.00 Dollar bill on the ground in a puddle of water, all in all it was a good/interesting day :buffing:

- 2 Bucket Method
- 2 Grit Guards
- BF Foam Gun
- CG Maxi Suds II
- 2 Meguiar's Wash Mits
- CG Citrus Wash & Gloss
- Pinnicle Sig APC
- Sonax FE
- Daytona & Mothers wheel brushes
- Megs Hyper Dressing
- P21S Polishing soap

- UWW+C as Lube
- Speedy Prep Towel
- Cobra Towels (Purple/Gold/Grey/Supreme Guzz)
- M205 spot testing (free incentive service to show client)
- XMT360 (stopped after 2 sections and IPA wiped)
- Rinse

- Flex 3401
- Hybrid & HT pad
- 4500
- PC7424xp
- BFWD
- Buff
- QD

IPA wiped xmt360 because of personal opinion of it, so went with something else. This car really needs a full compound & polish, has RIDS/Swirls/PT galore. Had to give the client what he wanted and could afford, he thought wax would remove all the scratches  He was satisfied with service but kinda bum'ed. I'm all about If the customers not happy then i'm not happy and got into a conversation about it. Figures, over the years he was lead to believe somehow wax cures all..

He said he will be calling me soon for a full compound & polish :D, I threw in a free headlight restoration If he did schedule an appointment so he knew I care about my customers. Well
on with the pics..

'wax cures all'.............good marketing from long ago.
Hope you'll be able to show what really cures minor scrapes and swirls on the whole car.
Nice results plus a bonus $20!

That stinks that you weren't able to perfect it at the time. The afters still show some defects, but much better than before. Don't forget to post pics of the correction!

Wow you drive over an hour to detail. Your service area must be huge.

Was that dirt permanent in the inside of the wheel?

You mean the barrel? (behind the rim) yes and no

It does, It kills me wanting to just :buffing: correct the whole car to my OCD standards, but I can only do as much as they pay me to :/ Hopefully he gets in touch with me soon and does decide to get a full correction, that would be an end result picture worth looking at instead of above imo.

Results look great overall. Question is on that soft Honda paint, is the customer actually going to be able to maintain it once fully corrected? I feel like just breathing on my Honda's paint that it will scratch.

From your results im eager to try out XMT for myself, it seems to be a very effective cleaner.
