Do any other companies (those availabe here) make a product equivalent to (or dare I say superior to) Adam's In & Out aerosol?

Stoners Trim Shine is my personal favorite but then again I've never used any others not felt the need to try others. But other companies make good stuff to like chemical guys back on black, meguiar's has one, and a few other companies.

Check chemical guys black on black it's a lot cheaper than adams.:buffing:

Agreed and thanks for all the input. Seems like we're all on the same page. The Adam's product works great and does exactly what I want it to; I use it under the hood primarily. However, if there was something cheaper and something I could get at the same location as all my other stuff (here!), then that would make the difference.

One question on the Meguiars...is it as overspray friendly as the Adam's? One thing about the Adam's is you don't have to worry about overspray/aerosol dust (for lack of a better description) settling on anything. If it does, it wipes off clean and residue free! Does the Meguiars have that same performance charasteristic?

I have not used in and out so I can't compare the teo in terms of performance. But meguiar's does a good job. Very user friendly. Overspray can be removed easily. Only tip I have is to buff off any excess product.

You could always buy an air brush kit, and use something like 303 Aerospace.

HUMP

+1 Chemical Guys Black on Black

Lasts longer than Adams in my experience

I would like to say chemical guys black on black but the problem is the spray pattern of their product.

With Adams in and out the spray pattern is very fine and dispersed, making it easy to cover tough areas that really cant be reached to do a final wipe down (engine compartment). So the product is never really sprayed overly heavy and leaves an even pattern. Also the darkening effect is mild without a wet or glossy look. Making the product IME , truly spray on and walk away.

With Chemical guys Black on Black the spray pattern is an actual stream and the product lays on really heavy kind of forcing the need to wipe it down with a towel afterwards to spread high spots. Its also really dark and wet looking. Which in the end kind of defeats the purpose of the products intention to begin with (to be able to spray areas you cant reach with an applicator or towel to be wiped down afterwards).

For that reason I wasn't able to replace one product with the other. I'm gonna give the meg's spray a try next instead. Does anyone have any insight into how the meg's performs for applications I described above ??
