I have been using this for a few months now. It has become one of my go to products. After cleaning my floor liners, while still wet, mist the product on and your done. It dries to a satin protective finish. Makes the liners look new.

I went to the Adam's site and looked at the description.

"Adam’s Rubber Mat & Liner Protectant features actively cross-linking acrylic polymers that dry to the touch, leaving the floor mat with a darkened, like-new finish that is safe for use and never slippery or greasy even when wet."

I'm trying to think if there are any other products like this, I think there are, but none are coming to mind.
EDIT: Wasn't there a Koch Chemie product like this? I guess it's Gummifix (Guf). And then this reminds me I have an old Klasse non-silicone product that is supposed to be non-greasy.

To the OP: is that description accurate, about being not slippery or greasy? Does it make them easier to clean next time around?

I haven't found much that is truly not slippery. I even found this Adam's one to be a bit slippery after use.

This has been a strong performer for me though. I think the brand has a few fans on here:

Before/After pics would be nice.

This would be helpful.

How well does it clean?

I too am looking for a product that will clean AND provide a bit of darkening. I used Griots 3-In-One Wheel Tire Mat cleaner and was really impressed. The cleaning was much better than using just and APC or the Blackfire floor mat cleaner I was using. The down side is it just leaves them clean, nothing extra to leave them looking a little darker/dressed.

According to Adams you are supposed to clean it first with their companion product. Same with the KC Gummifix, you are supposed to use one of their cleaners first.

As far as that TEC70 Black Fusion, that doesn't seem to be sold on Amazon (if that's what Uncbrs was showing), and the TEC website shows that for exterior plastic trim, although after they put it on the wiper cowling they did put it on the black wiper blades.

You got the right one. I actually didn't look at the specifics. Got this on recommendation from a trusted detailer and it worked for me.

When I used the Adam's stuff, I'm pretty sure I was also using their cleaner. No issues or complaints about it. I'll have to look to see if I've got pictures from that interior detail day. (And for Tec)

I tried the Adams protectant on new mats the other day. Super easy to apply. The mats were a little slippery, but it went away after a few times in and out of the car. I did not use the cleaner since the mats were new.

I haven't done the rear mats, so I think I'll use the cleaner and protectant on those and see if there is a difference.

Have to say I haven't tried it however has anyone ever used Idrosave at 50:1 as a dressing for mats? It definitely wouldn't be slippery and it's crazy inexpensive to use. Of course a scrub with an adequate cleaner would be needed prior. Would leave a nice satin finish and a little bit of protection.
Maybe I'll give it a try as I already have the Idrosave.

I’ll tell you what I have tried on rubber mats that has great results with absolute zero slickness whatsoever, Mothers Back to Black Tire Cleaner. The 1 that you use as a waterless tire cleaner, this stuff is an extraordinary product and works wonders on all rubber including rubber mats.

Not only cleans them waterless, but makes them noticeably blacker & darker with no slippery residue. Not even a hint of slickness.

Highly underrated product.
I don’t always use Mothers, but when I do, it’s probably that stuff.^

I had heard positive comments on the Adams. It has been in my cart but I haven't pulled the trigger. I do still have some WeatherTech protectant to use up so there's no rush.

Hard to argue with that.

GUF is junk, one of the few products form them that I didn't find useful.

Check out P&S Swift. It has mild cleaning and dressing potential, providing just the right amount of enhancement but without the slip hazard. If the mats were properly dirty, you at least hose them off first.

You all gave me a few ideas for the interior clean today. I think the pictures cover it but I can't say I saw a huge difference between these arrangements. The mats are about 8yrs old and were not dirty. I cleaned with scrub ninja and micros only. I was only going for cleaner/look better, not perfection. The mats don't hide the beating they take in sunlight by any means.

I think Swift was nice for a 1-step but the full Adam's line likely provided the darker black look. Sorry the pictures are bad. The cargo mat was just begging for a mix & match.
