adding pictures?

Hello, im not much of a computer wiz and woundered how you add the larger photos to a post? Id like to put some pictures in the contest for the pinnacle products but my photo is very small and doesnt show much detail like the others do. What am I doing wrong? thank you! Andrew
 
you would likely need to change the setting on your cameras, or use software in computer to enlarge pic prior to saving in the gallery. I commonly set my camera to 4x6 if memory serves correctly and pics are normal in sizing.
 
I take them at the largest setting on my camera. Window's XP has a tool you need to download........

Once you've installed this, go to the pics in you want to resize. Use Ctrl+A to select all of them then right click on one of them. You will see "Resize Images". Select medium and you're all set! Now they will be the size that you see me post here.
 
Another question also dealing with posting pictures. How do you type the text between the pictures? Each time I try to type something between each picture, the words just appear at the top of the first picture posted......do you know what I mean?
 
manually place cursor "after" the final [/IMG] not allowing the cursor to move to beginning of post.
 
Thank you for the advise. The file in autogeek only allows somethin like a 400x600gb size. Im not able to post larger than that but thats fine. Thanks again! Andrew
