Mike,

Lets say I washed and spray waxed my car today. Tomorrow I feel like adding a sealant.
Do you think durability will be less because the sealant is trying to bond to something other than paint?

While maybe not the answer to your question, OCW can be topped by OS with no neglible effects as per your scenario.:xyxthumbs:

Sealant must be applied to a clean surface with no other LSP's below it in order to have maximum durability. I would wash your car to strip the spray wax then apply your sealant. After about 12 hours (depending on what sealant you use) apply your spray wax as a "topper" and youll be set.

Hmm I have been topping Blackfire Crystal seal on my car. The LSP was BFWD am I just wasting the CS then??

Along those same lines.... How about apply sealant after a detailing spray? I have 1 coat of ksg on now and was planing another this week. I usually use meguiers 34 after a wash to help dry and remove a drops but this hurt the ksg bonding if a apply right after?

No, Crystal Seal is a spray sealant made to work with the BFWD and the entire BF line.

The ideal is to lay the sealant first and then top with wax. This will yield the best durability. What "spray wax" are you using? Some are nuba based and others are sealant based. The best thing to do would be to use a paint cleaner and start from scratch with your sealant.

You should be fine. The best bet in my opinion is to use somthing like CG: Blitz Acrylic Spray Sealant, Sonus Acrylic Spritz Quick Detail Spray, Werkstat Acrylic Glos. These are acrylic based and will wok better with the KSG.

In a pinch I have mixed KSG with distilled water to make my own QD version KSG.
