I'm not sure if the new version will take care of it but I've heard complaints about ONR as a QD not having any nice slickness to it like most QD's. I've noticed this as well and while it doesn't totally bother me, I figured I'd try something out. I didn't feel like paying almost $40 for the bottle of Polycharger liquid that's suggested for this so I used BFWD instead. I put a few drops, maybe a 1/4 of an ounce or so of my BFWD into a 22 oz bottle of ONR QD. I figured it couldn't really hurt anything so I mixed it, shook it up and tried it. I must say, there is a noticeable slickness now with no adverse effects like streaking or hazing. I was just winging it on the ratio so more can probably be added safely if desired and it should add more of the BF polycharged slickness to what is otherwise a great cleaning detailer. Anybody not happy with the feel of ONR as a QD should give this a shot if they have the BFWD lying around. I figure maybe even adding the wet diamond will give it quick wax properties as well which is always a good thing.

Interesting and very neat experiment. I would just pay to get the Wet Diamond Polymer spray personally. BFWD is like gold to me. :hungry:

With my superior brain i have come to the conclusion ....
scotwax was talking about adding ocw to o&r and voila new formula ..

So from a dollars and cents perspective, you're adding about $0.55 of BFWD (16oz size) to about $0.40 of ONR (gallon size) and about $0.18 of distilled H2O (walmart sized). So about $1.13 for a 22oz bottle. Hmmm, if it works great, *I* certainly wouldn't run to buy the wet diamond polymer spray as a means of preserving my BFWD hoard.

Math Counts! :D

You have a completely correct point! :xyxthumbs:

I just think I will stick with using my BFWD as a sealant.

I just used it again on my hood cause it's so damn dusty today and it worked great and had a nice feel to it compared to straight ONR at QD dilution. I don't use my BFWD all that much so I had some to spare. It definitely outperfoms my Griot's Speedshine and feels better then Meg's regular QD after testing them all out. And those cost an average of $8 each for a similar amount.
