In preparation for SoCal Euro here in San Diego this particular enthusiast wanted his vehicle to look the best for the show.

The main areas of focus:
-Removal of light swirls, marring and imperfections
-Hazy and oxidized carbon fiber roof
-Heavy fallout
-Engine bay decontamination
-Interior cleaning and reconditioning interior leather

Vehicle was dropped off in the following condition.

Interior

Carbon fiber roof faded and oxidized

Engine bay needing some love

Vehicle was then foamed, Iron-X'd, Clay barred and dried.

Paint correction process carried out, this is after the first compounding step

Gloss appearing after polishing steps, this is even before CQuartz!

Exhaust tips handled

Before

After

Interior handled

Engine bay dialed in as well

The entire vehicle was then given two IPA wipe downs and CQuartz was then applied in two separate coats.

Car was then given a final wipe down then pulled outside to see how she looks.

Great job Tim. Those exhaust tips turned out awesome. Polished tips I find brings the rear end of that car together. Thanks for sharing!

Tim,

Great Work!

Would be even better if you would let us in on what products, equipment and techniques you used to achieve this level of detailing perfection.

Thanks,

Kyle

Great work! I'm not usually a big fan of BMW's but that one looks great! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliments guys! It definitely was a dramatic transformation, the owner was floored. Never worked on BMW paint that was this hard before though. Good to know!

Awesome work!! Seeing those pics makes me want to go clean my exhaust tips haha :applause:

GREAT WORK!

Everytime I see a white M3 I wanna spply the M colored stripes on the front D/S fenders, or the broken checkered flag in M colors.

That white is so glossy now, you really turned that thing around, GREAT JOB!
