I washed my car for the first time today and noticed that my drying towels feel like they are grabby to the touch.
I only use high quality microfiber towels and wash them using microfiber wash. Is this normal for towels to feel this way?
I am also having trouble drying my windows without getting water spots. Any specific towel or method you guys prefer for window drying?

I can't recommend Griot,'s PFM towels more. They simply work and work well.

Are these new towels or ones that you have had for a while? Are you using a drying aid in conjunction with the towels?

The way I rationalize it is that I just buy one less $35 or$40 shirt in order to get a PFM which I'll get more use out of.

Another way to look at it is:

You can buy one $45 PFM and have it for years, or keep buying $20 towels every year that don't work near as well as the PFM. ;)

I wish the Griots PFMs were cheaper up here. they are over 2x the cost of others up here :(

I'll throw my hat into the GG PFM's they simply work. The way I see it, only a rich person can afford cheap towels.

I don’t know if anyones mentioned it yet but theirs a company from my neck of the woods (WA) called Griots garage.

The make this towel called a PFM (Pure Freakin Magic) out of a twisted loop microfiber........It’s pretty good....

The HELL you say!!! :D

Can back up the PFM claim. Bought the XL edgeless version for 27 bucks (steal of a deal) cause it was a 'returned' 2nd life item from the big online store that starts with an A.

I've used the Cobra waffle weaves which were good. This totally changed the game for me. It's amazing how much and how easy it absorbs water. I dried my whole Audi S4 in max 2 mins. No joke. Incredible.

Going to be getting one for my father in law who's starting to get the detailing bug I think :)
