Advise on machine for 3" pads

I'd get a rotary with a 3" flex backing plate..
I'm using my rotary more and more ... With the DA occasionally to finish sections..
Then Jewell with rotary to finish...
I find 3 " pads on a DA set up for 5" vibrate like a mofo.. Hence the rotary...

The PE-8 with 1"-3" pads is Smooth! I don't think any DA could come close, unless it's not running.

If the Nano ibrid was available as just the polisher that would be the best solution. Since it is not , the the smaller the polisher the easier it is to control small pads. Also the amount of sling from small pads is way more than 5" pads.

New thin pads just in time for this thread...

NEW! 3.5" ThinPro Foam Pads! Thin is in and you're going to love these new small foam pads!

I have an air tool similar to the one you show in the picture. It works ok but the air hose is a pain to deal with. Main reason for the question on electrical alternative.

I use my PC for 4' pads. I have a Rupes 75E mini and the mini knockoff for 3" pads. The only issue I have had with the knockoff is that the trigger lock can be disengaged a bit too easily when bumped.

I don't think the power cord on the knockoff is of very high quality. When it finally fails I'll swap it out with the 15' cord that I had installed on my old PC7336 which has finally kicked the bucket.

Does the knockoff mini stall less then the rules mini?

But dang this thread reminded me to check out the 3.5 thin pros

What is the knockoff mini? Where can I get info?
